FAQ
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Due to a high volume of orders, our standard processing time is currently 3 to 5 weeks from the date your order is placed.
Q: I selected Next Day Air or Second Day Air shipping—why didn’t my order arrive the next day?
A: We understand how important timely delivery is. Expedited shipping methods such as Next Day Air or Second Day Air apply after our standard processing period of 3–5 weeks. Once your order completes processing and is ready to ship, your selected shipping method will take effect and your package will be sent accordingly. You’ll receive an email with tracking details as soon as your shipping label is created, allowing you to monitor your shipment every step of the way.
Q: My ice packs arrived melted, and the fish isn’t cool to the touch. Is it safe to eat?
A: If your order has been in transit for no more than 2 days and the fish feels cool or at room temperature, it is generally safe to consume based on how our products are cured and cold-smoked. However, if the fish feels warm or hot, please do not consume it and contact us before eating. We carefully pack each order with generous ice packs and high-quality insulation to help maintain freshness during transit. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities.
Q: Is your fish cooked?
A: No, our fish is not cooked. It’s carefully cured and cold-smoked, a traditional method that enhances flavor and preserves freshness—without heat. This process keeps the delicate texture and quality intact, offering a refined experience with every bite.
Q: How long is the shelf life of your products?
A: When vacuum sealed, our products last approximately:
-2 weeks refrigerated
-6 months frozen Once opened, we recommend consuming within 5 days for optimal freshness and flavor. For the best taste experience, enjoy your product as soon as possible after opening—prolonged storage may lead to a stronger, fishier flavor due to natural changes in the cured and cold-smoked process.
Q: Is your fish wild-caught?
A: Yes—all of our fish are wild-caught, with the exception of trout, which is sustainably farmed. We take pride in sourcing responsibly and maintaining the highest standards of quality across all our offerings.
Q: I live in a warm climate—should I be concerned about the transit of my fish?
A: If you’re in a region with consistently high temperatures, we strongly recommend upgrading your shipping to Overnight Air to help preserve freshness. Rest assured, we take every precaution on our end: your order is packed with ample ice packs and premium-grade insulation to maintain safe temperatures during transit. Your satisfaction and product quality are always our top priorities.
Q: Does your maple salmon taste very sweet, like candy?
A: Not at all! Our maple salmon has a subtle hint of maple—just enough to enhance its flavor without overwhelming it. As the salmon dries during the curing and cold-smoking process, it naturally absorbs a touch of maple, resulting in a delicate and balanced taste. If you’d prefer a stronger maple profile, feel free to brush on a little extra maple syrup at home and leave the salmon uncovered in the fridge for about an hour. This will allow it to set and deepen the flavor naturally.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Currently, we do not ship internationally.
Q: Are your fish products halal?
A: Yes, all of our products are halal. We take great care to ensure our offerings meet halal standards so you can enjoy them with confidence and peace of mind.
Q: My fillets look smaller than the ones I saw in your videos—why is that?
A: Each of our listings is based on weight, not visual size. Fillets may vary in shape and thickness, but we ensure that every order meets the exact weight you selected at checkout. The size you saw in our videos may reflect a different weight category or cut. Rest assured, you're receiving the precise weight of our luxury-quality fish every time.
